Designed by Marc Bohan for Christian Dior, this haute couture cocktail dress is constructed in delicate black lace and features a ruffle collar and crossover back. A black silk ribbon belt cinches in the waist with a bow and corsage detail to the side. The black silk bodice has a fully boned corset giving coverage under the sheer lace, while the softly pleated skirt is trimmed with a ruffle on the hemline. 


  • Constructed in black lace with black silk lining

  • Featuring a crossover back and ribbon belt with corsage detail

  • Hook and eye fastenings on the internal corset and zip fastening to the rear of the dress

  • Very good condition with some small holes in the lace and the original label, lining, boning and fastenings

  • Professionally dry cleaned and ozone-treated

  • Inspected by a couture-trained seamstress

  • All vintage items have been pre worn, gentle signs of wear are an inherent part of the piece

Your body’s natural waistline at its slimmest point, just above the navel.

Measure around the point of your hips at the top of the legs. This will be approximately nine inches below your natural waistline.


The distance from the top of your inner thigh to the ankle.
